HOW IT WORKS BEFORE YOU GET HERE You can arrange to hire one of our battery packs, exclusive to Glastonbury Festival, by purchasing through this website. You will collect your hire pack onsite and can exchange once per day throughout the Festival. More information about the exact processes at the Festival can be found below. Do I receive a proof of purchase? Yes, once you have completed your online purchase you will receive a confirmation email and PDF ticket containing a QR code. You should make sure that you have this QR code with you when you collect your battery pack onsite. I can no longer come to Glastonbury Festival, can I get a refund on my battery pack? Please just let us know 72 hours prior to the Festival and we will be able to refund your battery pack hire purchase. My receipt and ticket come from See Tickets, is that correct? Yes, See Tickets are the official ticketing partner of Glastonbury Festival and process payments for our battery packs. How is Vodafone working with Glastonbury on everyone.connected? For every battery pack hired, we will donate a pre-loaded sim card to a local charity in Somerset, offering festival-fans a way to give back to the community. Your battery pack will be available for collection from Wednesday 25th June at any of our 3 onsite locations: 1. Connect & Charge is in Leftfield, near to the bridge to The Other Stage. You should head to the Battery Exchange & Shop 2. Opposite San Remo on the walk to Woodsies 3. Worthy View Campsite When is Vodafone Connect & Charge open for customers? We are open at the following times: Wednesday 25th June – 10am – 11pm Will the battery pack work with all devices? Yes, the battery pack works with all phones, personal tech and USB charged portable devices. You should bring your own charging cable to connect to the battery pack, but our team will be able to assist with any issues or problems onsite. How much charging capacity (mAH) do the Vodafone battery packs have? The capacity of each battery pack is 5000mAH which will be enough to give most phones a full charge. The capacity of each battery pack is 5000mAH, which is enough power for 1 day’s usage based off a moderate to high user. Does the £20 hire fee cover every day? Yes, the payment is for the entire Festival and you will receive one battery pack swap per day from the Battery Exchange. You should return your battery pack on or before Monday 30th June before midday to receive your deposit. How often can I exchange my battery pack for a new one? You will be allowed one battery pack exchange per day. When you first collect your battery pack, you will be issued with a card which permits one exchange per day. These cannot be carried over from one day to the next. What is the returnable deposit for? All purchasers are required to pay a £10 deposit alongside the hire fee. This £10 deposit is fully refundable at the Festival once you have returned your battery pack for the final time. Deposits must be processed at Glastonbury Festival and cannot be redeemed following the event. It says it is battery pack ‘hire’, can we keep the battery pack if we choose to purchase it? The battery pack hire enables you to exchange your pack for a fully charged one each day at the Festival. Should you wish to keep your battery pack, you will forgo the return of your £10 deposit. Can I exchange my Vodafone batter pack from previous years? If you already have a Vodafone battery pack, you can make use of our exchange service without paying the £10 deposit. If you sign up for our weekend exchange service, we will provide you with a new fully charged pack in return for your old one. Is a cable included in the hire? You will need to bring your own charging cable to connect your phone or device to the battery pack. If you have lost your cable, please speak with our team in the Vodafone Retail shop who stock a range of cables for purchase. Please note the Vodafone Retail shop is cashless. I’ve already exchanged my battery pack but need more charge, is there anywhere else I can go? Yes! We’re pleased to offer free charging in the Lounge at the Connect & Charge tent. At busy times, charging slots will be limited to 30 minutes but when there are no queues, you are free to sit with us and charge away. I’m not arriving until later in the weekend, can I collect my battery pack still? Your battery pack can be collected on any day of the Festival, you will however only be able to do one exchange per day still. What if the battery pack I receive is faulty? If you believe your battery pack is faulty, please visit us at the shop at Connect & Charge. If the battery pack is faulty, we will exchange this for you. Please note that this is the limit of our obligations to you, and we have no further liability arising from your hire and use of the battery packs (save for that which cannot be limited by law). I have a battery pack from a previous Festival, can I exchange this? For safety reasons, we are only able to hire and exchange Vodafone battery packs at the Connect & Charge tent. You can charge your own personal devices in the lounge. RETURNING YOUR BATTERY PACK Simply bring your battery pack back to the Connect & Charge tent and one of our team will process your refund. This can be done at any time throughout the Festival but must be done before midday on Monday 30th June 2025. What if I have to rush off and leave the Festival, how do I get my deposit back? You can only return your final battery pack and receive your deposit back onsite so please make sure to visit the Connect & Charge tent before leaving Worthy Farm! If you aren’t able to return your battery pack, please keep it and use it again for your next festival experience.
