It’s Happening!
Setting the stage
Every summer, in the heart of Golden Gate Park, Outside Lands festival celebrates the best food, music, and art from San Francisco and beyond. This year, Seth Troxler, one of electronic music’s most recognizable artists, partnered with Microsoft to create AI-generated stage visuals for his Outside Lands show. Seth and his creative director, Aaron Kulik, reimagined and innovated their creative approach using Copilot, giving them the freedom to do more.

School is in session
During this summer’s 28-city tour, Stand Atlantic, The Home Team, Magnolia Park, Scene Queen, Honey Revenge and Letdown created custom stickers with Copilot to express their visual identities. Then, fans sent notes to their favorites along with the stickers the artists created. Bands chose their favorite fan letters, and the winners got exclusive backstage tours where they met the artists. A portion of ticket sales will help fund the Save the Music pilot program, powered by Microsoft, which contributes to music education awareness.
