According to the study, white noise has a significant impact on the disease. First, we establish the solution’s existence and uniqueness. Following that, we explain that the stochastic basic production R 0 is a threshold that determines the extinction or persistence of the disease. When noise levels are high, we acquire R 0 < 1 , which causes the sickness to disappear. A sufficient condition for the existence of a stationary distribution is archived when the noise intensity is high, which suggests the infection is prevalent when R 0 > 1 . Finally, numerical simulations are used to explain the key findings.

According to the research, white noise has a significant impact on the disease. First, we explain that there is global existence and positivity to the solution. Then we show that the stochastic basic reproduction $ {{\underset{\scriptscriptstyle\centerdot}{\text{R}}}} {_r} $ is a threshold that determines whether the disease is cured or persists. When the noise intensity is high, we get $ {{\underset{\scriptscriptstyle\centerdot}{\text{R}}}}{_r} < 1 $ and the disease goes away; when the white noise intensity is low, we get $ {{\underset{\scriptscriptstyle\centerdot}{\text{R}}}}{_r} > 1 $, and a sufficient condition for the existence of a stationary distribution is obtained, which suggests that the disease is still there. However, the main objective of the study is to produce a stochastic analogue of the deterministic model that we analyze using numerica...

An exploration of issues and limitations in current models of standard TOPSIS and fuzzy TOPSIS were made. Despite many variations of type-1 fuzzy TOPSIS (T1-TOPSIS) model, none of the studies explaining the details of the key stages of standard TOPSIS (non-fuzzy) and T1-TOPSIS are based on a step-wise procedure. A detailed study was conducted which involve the process of identifying the limitations of standard TOPSIS and T1-TOPSIS. Based on this, a novel contribution on the comparison between these two models in systematic stepwise procedure was given. This study successfully identified and discussed the limitations, issues and challenges which have not been investigate...

A group of panels and a supervisor for each project are also involved in the process. Therefore, a Decision Support System (DSS) is required to assist the supervisor and the panels during the process of FYP evaluation. In DSS, human intuitions is also taken into consideration especially in the evaluation which involved the subjective criteria which sometimes are fuzzy in nature. Fuzzy criteria makes the evaluation process very intricate and complicated. The conventional methods for evaluating FYP are inadequate for dealing with the imprecise or vague nature of linguistic assessment. To overcome this difficulty, it is important to create and develop a DSS that is embedded with integrated Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) models and Weighted Model as a decision analysis. Integrated FMCDM model consists of Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Fuzzy Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS) to evaluate FYP in computer-based programme. Weighted Model is used to rank the criteria. The FAHP is used to analyze the structure of the FYP criteria and determine the appropriate weights of the criteria while FTOPSIS is used to determine the final ranking of FYPs. The evaluation process takes into consideration a number of phases based on the FYP evaluation framework. To show the applicability of the method, a prototype system is developed for FYP evaluation process.

The evaluation takes into consideration a number of criteria, a few of which are normally fuzzy in nature. The fuzziness of certain criteria makes the evaluation process complicated. The main evaluation criteria that are considered include project proposal document, final report document, prototype system, and oral presentation. All students' projects need to be carefully evaluated based on these criteria to ensure that the students' projects are rated fairly and be given standardized marks. A group decision support system is required to achieve the objective of fair and accurate evaluations. This research proposes a framework for students' projects evaluation for Decision Support System based on the Weighted Model, Fuzzy Ranked Analytical Hierarchical Process and Fuzzy TOPSIS via a number of evaluation phases. At the end of the evaluation process, a list of sorted ranked marks is displayed to the users for further decision making activities to take place.

The economic and social turmoil caused by this epidemic is increasing, and many people are at risk of falling into oppressive poverty. In this article, we describe the pandemic of infectious illness with the help of stochastic mathematical modeling. Based on the environmental white noise and by building appropriate Lyapunov functions and by applying Ito’s formula, a few subjective properties are gotten. We provide a new mathematical model for the COVID-19 spread. The novel stochastic model is used to analyze the existence and prevalence of the disease, as well as its extinction. A numerical approach is developed for computing approximate solutions of the model. We show numerical simulations of deterministic and stochastic models of COVID-19 by utilizing the MATLAB software. In this direction, three ...

Formulated by fractional operators, the formulation of a dynamical system is used in applications for the description of systems with long-range interactions. Vector-borne illnesses are one of the world’s most serious public health issues with a large economic impact on the nations that are impacted. Population increase, urbanization, globalization, and a lack of public health infrastructure have all had a role in the introduction and reemergence of vector-borne illnesses during the last four decades. The control of these infections are important to lessen the economic burden of vector-borne diseases in infected regions. In this research work, we formulate the transmission process of Zika virus with the impact of sexual incidence rate and vaccinatio...

The new stochastic model was studied for the existence and persistence of the disease, as well as the extinction of the disease. We noticed that the existence and extinction of the disease are dependent on R0 (the reproduction number). Then, a numerical scheme was developed for the computational analysis of the model; with the existing values of the parameters in the literature, we obtained the related simulations, which gave us more realistic numerical data for the future prediction. The mentioned stochastic model was analyzed for different values of σ1,σ2 and β1,β2, and both the stochastic and the deterministic models were compared for the future prediction of the spread of COVID-19.

Currently, Fuzzy TOPSIS presents a solution for decision makers when dealing with real world data that are usually multi attributes and involves a complex decision making process. In this work, an application of this method is demonstrated in the selection of Investment Boards by taking into account the operational risks involved.

T... more Ports exist to serve ships, provide access to navigable waterways, and handle and manage cargo. Thus, selecting a suitable port’s dock based on a significant number of criteria is critical to avoiding environmental hazards and property damage. This paper discusses the decision-making problem of ranking criteria for ship berthing. The fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution tool is utilized to provide multi-criteria decision-making. The ranking process includes listing and evaluating potential alternatives for decision-makers (DM), resulting in the arrangement of priorities based on closeness-coefficient values. The proposed model not only copes with the subjective and imprecise opinions of DMs, but it also integrates their subjective judgments as a collective group decision. In this study, three groups of DMs are used for the selection process to evaluate port docks in Peninsular Malaysia, finding that a higher number of experts in a group results in ...

TODIM is an effective method in modelling experts’ psychological behaviour in the decision-making process. However, under the GDM, the method is based solely on the average of all experts’ judgments without any consideration to soft aggregation processes that include majority and/or minority concepts. In this work, the LAMA operator is used to be integrated with TODIM-GDM to aggregate the experts’ opinions with respect to the majority concept under the linguistic domain. This is to provide a greater flexibility in reaching a consensus instead of only considering equally average using the classical averaging operators. Two linguistic representations, namely, symbolic approach and 2-tuple linguistic approach for LAMA operator are proposed to be utilised in the method. A numerical example in investme...

While TOPSIS has been developed towards the use of Type-2 Fuzzy Sets (T2FS), to date, the additional information provided by T2FSs in TOPSIS has been largely ignored since the final output, the Closeness Coefficient (CC), has remained a crisp value. In this paper, we develop an alternative approach to T2 fuzzy TOPSIS, where the final CC values adopt an interval-valued form. We show in a series of systematically designed experiments, how increasing uncertainty in the T2 membership functions affects the interval-valued CC outputs. Specifically, we highlight the complex behaviour in terms of the relationship of the uncertainty levels and the outputs, including non-symmetric and non-linear growth in the CC intervals in response to linearly growing levels of uncertainty. As the first TOPSIS approach which provides an interval-valued output to capture output uncertainty, the proposed method is designed to reduce the loss of information and to maximize the benefit of using T2FSs. The initial results indicate substantial potential in the further development and exploration of the proposed and similar approaches and the paper highlights promising next steps.
