A top-ranked private education from Nova Southeastern University may cost less than you think. When comparing tuitions, it’s important to factor in the many generous gift aid opportunities available at NSU—the average incoming freshman receives $23,514 in scholarships and grants. That’s money that never has to be paid back, making NSU more affordable than many public institutions!
Navigating scholarships and aid can be tricky, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. NSU’s admissions staff will help you and your family build a financial aid and scholarship package that works. We’ll even help you map out the best steps to fund your education so you can reap the full value of your NSU degree and earn a competitive advantage in your career, community, and life.
Affordability and Outcomes
Your Financial Aid Package
We’ll maximize your funding together.
NSU’s financial aid counselors will help you navigate the process of funding your education.
First, we’ll help you take advantage of federal and state grant programs—gifts that don’t need to be repaid.
Then, we’ll talk you through your federal work-study and NSU student employment opportunities. We can also counsel you about how to use loans wisely.
To qualify for any funding opportunity, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and use NSU’s code, 001509. If you have questions about the FAFSA, we can help with that too.
Florida Residents
In addition to the FAFSA, we suggest that students who are Florida residents submit an NSU State Aid Application.
This will help you be considered for things like the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program and the Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG).

Premier Program Scholarships
Scholarships and Grants
Part of our funding conversation will be to identify grants and scholarships that you may be eligible for. This includes those offered by NSU, the state or federal government, and independent foundations or funds.
There may also be a Premier Program (with a scholarship) that fits your career goals.
Tuition and Fees
The full cost of attendance at NSU includes tuition, room, board and other fees—much of which can be covered through grants, scholarships and other financial aid.
To estimate your annual cost of attendance after factoring in potential financial aid, you can use our handy Net Price Calculator.
