🐑 And the grand total is in! 🐑 We are delighted to announce that, thanks to your support, Shaun on the Tyne has raised a fab-ewe-lous £310,000 for St Oswald's Hospice! 💛 As well as the whopping £195,400 raised at auction, the remaining money has come in through sponsorship, merchandise, app sales, ticketed events, raffles and community and schools fundraising. What a baa-rilliant achievement, only made possible by you, our flock of Shaun on the Tyne supporters. Thank ewe so, so much! 🙌 All the funds will go towards the hospice’s running costs and allow its team to support the children, adults and their families who rely on its services. A very fitting end to a summer of Shaun the Sheep spotting, making memories and moments to share and spending quality time with those we love. 🥰 Read more about our exciting announcement 👉 https://lnkd.in/egsbR8Yp Wild in Art | Aardman | #ShaunOnTheTyne

Three cheers to trail champions, Dame Allan's Schools, who took on a baa-rilliant fundraising challenge for St Oswald's Hospice, inspired by their involvement in Shaun on the Tyne last summer. 🐑🏆 Last month the whole school came together for a ‘Shaun the Sheep Shuffle’, a sponsored run, which children and teachers took part in throughout the day. Participants asked family and friends to sponsor their efforts and St Oswald’s Hospice Children and Young Adult’s Service Ambassador and Newcastle United Football Club and England footballer, Kieran Trippier came along to offer support and present prizes. We were delighted when we heard that the total raised was a massive £7,000! This huge amount of money will really make a difference at the hospice and to the patients and families there, so we want to say a big thank you to all the young people involved and their teachers and families for their support. 💛 Find out more about the Shaun the Sheep Shuffle 👉 https://lnkd.in/enzNG7yD Aardman | Wild in Art | #ShaunOnTheTyne

Have you spotted the SmileyWorld® sculptures on the streets of North Tyneside yet? 😃 These 15 giant emotion-inspired sculptures form an art trail organised by North Tyneside Council in partnership with Wild in Art and they will be on display until 2nd April. Although this isn’t a St Oswald's Hospice trail like the recent #ShaunOnTheTyne, we have been chosen as the charity partner, so any donations made by trail-goers will support the work of our teams with local adults and children. The organisers have created a printed map which is available from Customer First Centres in the borough or available to download at 👉 https://lnkd.in/e2ck8NA7 There is also an app to help you find all of the Smileys, just search 'SmileyWorld Art Trail' in the App Store or Google Play Store. 📲 If you’d like to support St Oswald’s Hospice by making a donation, you can do so at 👉 https://lnkd.in/e2DJwUav Thank you and happy Smiley spotting! 💛 #SmileyWorld | #SmileyWorldArtTrail | Smiley Company | #ArtTrail | #NorthTynesideCouncil | #WildInArt

Happy new year from everyone at Shaun on the Tyne. We just wanted to let you know that this page will go a little quiet in the coming months, as our team are busy working on other ways to raise funds for St Oswald's Hospice. We’d love for you to keep following this page though, as news of any future trails will be shared here. 🙌 In the meantime, please do follow our friends at St Oswald's Hospice and keep up to date with how your support during the trail continues to make a difference. The £310,000 you collectively helped to raise will now help the hospice team to continue to care for children and adults from across the region. Thank you. 💙 You can find out more about St Oswald’s Hospice at 👉 https://lnkd.in/dZgwyyx #StOswaldsHospice | #QualityTimeForEveryone | #ShaunOnTheTyne
