Innovate UK will fund up to 75% costs for projects between 12-36 months in length. Welcome back to Equipment Unlocked 🔓 a new series to share Canterbury Christ Church University's extensive equipment list and give our followers an insight to what they can be used for. This weeks piece of specialist equipment is the Discreet Analyser. This is an automated chemical analyser in which the instrument performs tests on samples that are kept in discrete cuvettes. The analyser can be used for rapid and accurate analysis of various samples including the assessment of water quality and nitrate and ammonia analysis. Welcome back to Meet the Team! This week we have Lauren Rabbatts, Head of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships for the Enterprise and Engagement Department. Lauren joined the university in April ’22 with the remit of working with both internal and external stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities for projects and potential funding bids. She leads on the development of policies and procedures linked to commercialisation, such as intellectual property. Alongside these, Lauren supports the development of income generating external CPD, assisting academic colleagues to bring ideas to market through the development of processes and systems.
