Banks need to perform significant manual work, such as checking credit scores, evaluating financial performance, and analysing publicly available information including social media posts before they can approve a loan. However, our company has come up with an innovative solution called financial spreading, which is based on AI and ML. This technology can scan the entire marketplace and provide a score to the bank in just 5 to 10 minutes, with an accuracy rate of 85 to 90%. This transition towards an ageing population presents both challenges and opportunities, particularly in the development of the "silver economy," which encompasses products and services tailored for older adults. The silver economy is expected to experience substantial growth, primarily driven by the increasing demand for home health care services. Many elderly individuals prefer to age in place, leading to a rising need for in-home medical care, personal assistance, and companionship. The under-penetration of health insurance in India further exacerbates the situation, as many elderly individuals seek alternative healthcare solutions. Additionally, the introduction of doorstep banking services is enhancing financial inclusion for older adults, who often face difficulties accessing traditional banking due to mobility issues or a lack of digital literacy. This innovation not only improves the quality of life for the elderly but also creates new opportunities for financial service providers. However, to fully leverage the potential of the silver economy, several challenges must be addressed. Inadequate infrastructure to support the ageing population is a significant obstacle, as many regions lack the necessary facilities and services. There are also notable policy gaps that need to be bridged, requiring collaboration among government and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive framework that addresses the unique needs of older adults. This includes creating elder-friendly services and ensuring healthcare systems are equipped for geriatric care. Another critical challenge is the shortage of a skilled workforce capable of providing adequate care and support for the elderly. As demand for services grows, there is an urgent need for training programs that equip caregivers with the necessary skills, encompassing both medical training and education on the social and emotional aspects of caregiving. By monetizing carbon reductions, India can leverage economic incentives to achieve its carbon-neutral goals, aligning with global sustainability efforts and potentially providing a more flexible and market-driven solution compared to a direct carbon tax. This strategy aligns with economic principles of supply and demand and can drive innovation and efficiency in carbon management.

Morris Morrison, Professional Keynote Speaker kicked things off with some inspiring thoughts on building community and prosperity. Freddie Ravel’s session on rhythm and success was a game-changer—he made it clear that the key to success is minimizing disruptions. Then, Leon Logothetis shared how simple acts of kindness can deepen our connections, a reminder I think we all need. Crystal Washington brought in fresh digital media strategies that I’m excited to try, and Gilbert Enoka, the coach of New Zealand’s rugby team, shared his mantra for thriving under pressure: “Create the gap, build, repeat.” It’s a strategy I plan to put into practice. Jensen Siaw had a great point about client objections being more about their own mental blocks—a real eye-opener. Clint Pulver’s journey, from a student whose potential was seen in his constant tapping to a world-renowned drummer, reminded me of the importance of showing up every day and giving our best. And let’s not forget Tiffani Bova, who shared practical strategies for speeding up pipeline velocity—crucial for thriving in today’s fast-paced world. But what really struck me throughout this experience was the reminder that insurance is not just a product—it’s a necessary solution that can be customized for each one of us. How proud I feel to be part of such a noble profession, where we help clients live the life of their dreams. This MDRT experience has given me a new perspective on the ample opportunities, growth, and viability that the insurance industry holds.
