How can you build trust and rapport with clients when selling cloud computing services?
It starts with your mindset: show up in service. You can invest the time to understand the account, the priorities of the exec level, and how the individual you want to speak to is responsible for contributing to those priorities. Then, if there is a link to how your solution can help move the needle for that business and the person, find a creative way to get the attention of the business. This way, you are approaching them with a researched point of view on something that is important to the individual personally and the business with evidence of having delivered similar outcomes for peers, rather than creating noise and slinging mud against the wall, hoping something will stick.

The Gartner LPP has been developed for taking best practices from around the world, combined with input from sales leadership and sales training, and is used as a platform in developing people for future sales leadership roles.
The curriculum has been developed to provide content on sales leadership best practice and is structured around ten modules which cover topics such as Team Leadership, Developing Others, Review and Plan, Forecasting, Hiring Great Talent amongst others. -
