To enhance care for patients crossing regional boundaries, Somerset’s Shared Care Record, "SIDeR+," now provides real-time access to structured Primary Care data from SystmOne GP practices in Dorset. This ensures seamless referrals for patients needing further care in Somerset while enabling clinical updates to be efficiently written back into the patient’s record. Digital Health News exclusive from Jordan Sollof: ▪️ Airedale NHS Foundation Trust told Digital Health News that it has has postponed the go live of its Oracle Health electronic patient record (EPR) indefinitely ▪️ The EPR was initially scheduled to be deployed in September 2024, but was pushed back until November 2024 to allow further testing ▪️ It has now been delayed further to resolve issues and ensure staff feel confident using the system Tammy L. Having worked in both high and low psychological safety environments, I can attest to this. Nothing will affect my performance (and my levels of anxiety!!) more than the fear of what will happen if something goes wrong. All members of a team should be able to speak freely and honestly, and have space to try new things and make mistakes without fear of intense repercussions. Type 2 diabetes affects over 4 million people a year, and data from Diabetes UK suggests that 1 in 10 people could be living with the condition by 2030. Finding solutions and interventions that help people reduce their risk of developing the condition has never been more urgent. ⚠️ That’s why we were proud to help our client, Meddbase, and the NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), to reach, educate and convert other ICBs to use Meddbase’s technology to increase uptake of referrals to the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme, a clinically effective approach for drastically cutting the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. 📉 The results?
