We’ve been busy over the last few months talking to all sorts of people within the Ecosystem to get a feel for what’s actually going on. ☎ We’ve spoken to Partners, Endusers, Candidates, AE’s and even Salesforce Leadership. Times have definitely changed. ⏰ Salesforce are capturing the zeitgeist with announcements being more political than practical. 🧠 📉 Customers have more choice than ever before, with competing products affecting sales numbers over at the mothership. There are still the large “land and expand projects” for established Partners, but the net new business is stalling. I recall Salesforce massively promoting the 150,000 customers number and yet the 200,000 announcement has yet to materialize. Maybe they’re waiting for the quarter mill ❓ In turn, and despite what you may read elsewhere, jobs are harder to come by than ever before. 💲 With more and more entrants trying to get into the Ecosystem (the promise of highly paid careers at entry level still persists!), the competition is fierce. This is compounded by the redundancies from the larger partners during the early part of this year that filtered talent back down the ladder. The problem as we see it, is that the market is still behaving as it was in the boom of 2021. As we said before, things have changed. We need to react and adapt. There is opportunity out there and with a little bit of ingenuity and flexibility Salesforce is still a fabulous Ecosystem in which to work and build a career. 💼 We still have clients looking for great people and great people looking for awesome roles. 🔎 We’ve taken on board the findings from the conversations we’ve been having and come up with our part of the solution. We have a NEW flexible way to recruit. One that mitigates the risk to hire, gives new entrants a chance and provides Employers, both Partners and Endusers, with a practical long-term solution to growth as we navigate through these tricky times. 💪🏼 💰 Oh, and it will very much reduce the cost most likely!! 😁 If you want to find out more then get in touch and we’d be happy to talk it through.
