The UK’s new Secretary of State for the Environment has stated a roadmap to move Britain to a zero waste economy is a key goal. With SAP HANA VMs often oversized to the tune of TBs memory and 100s vCPUs, I’d suggest SAP workloads could be a decent starting point to eradicate digital waste. Great news for SAP users in the UK. SAP and Microsoft are planning to deploy SAP Business Technology Platform in the Azure UK region by the end of 2025. This move will allow users to host native or RISE with SAP workloads alongside deployed BTP services. 🚀 #sapbtp #azure #risewithsap

What are we allowed to do with our SAP ERP data? Like Jan van Ansem I also often get this question from clients which plans to move SAP data into a new cloud analytics platform! I highly suggest to read Jan's blog post for the standard answer ⬇️

you need to be honest with yourself when you're looking at "upgrading" an ERP system. upgrading CAN be a purely technical exercise and reasonably priced, but not if you let the business users in the room. sometimes, based on changed requirements or regulatory reasons, you need a re-implementation and you need to be realistic. #sap or #dynamics365 - doesn't make a difference. look at your requirements and reasons for doing the project with open eyes before you put together a strategy and an estimate. https://lnkd.in/gmgPMqqa
