نُشرت اليوم دراستنا والتي بحثت معرفة الوالدين ورضاهم عن برنامج فحص السمع للمواليد في المملكة العربية السعودية Our latest publication explored parents’ knowledge and satisfaction with the newborn hearing screening (NHS) program in Saudi Arabia. Overall, parents were knowledgeable about the NHS program; however, only 29.6% received information about the NHS before the screening while 44.7% reported receiving sufficient information about the results. The satisfaction rate was 80.2%. Efforts are needed to improve the effectiveness of the NHS program with focus on the necessity of NHS, test results, and follow-up appointments. https://lnkd.in/d4D3JczY

Extremely grateful to all my incredible teammates Jehad Yasin,Ahmad S., Nada Awamleh, Fares Qubbaj, Noor Abu Hantash, and all other co-authors. A special thanks goes to Dr.Anwaar Saeed for her continuous support throughout this journey. In the first study we utilized a genomic approach to explore the role of a metabolic protein in LGG. In the second study we combined a meta-analysis/bioinformatics approach to elucidate a protein’s mechanism and role in 33 different cancer types! #ESMO #oncology #bioinformatics #metaanalysis
