Simple Ways to Start Defrosting Your Nervous System When you have been in a long term freeze response after ongoing or unresolved trauma, off the scales stress, or just certain aspects of your life feeling out of control, it can be easy to assume there is no light whatsoever at the end of that dark tunnel and that you are doomed to spend the rest of your life struggling with your physical and emotional health. And while there are no silver bullets or quick fix solutions that will work 100 per cent straight away, there are certainly self help strategies that can help you start chipping away at that iceblock of stuck, unexpressed or sometimes suppressed feelings and emotions that you ended up bottling inside of yourself. How To Make Healthy Boundaries Work For You Before You Need To Enforce Them Sometimes it's good to remind ourselves about things that we will and won't tolerate happening in our lives in relation to other people and situations before we actually have a need to act on any of those resolutions. If you are still recovering from people pleasing, why not have these statements up on a wall, or somewhere else where you can see them on a regular basis, until they become an automatic and internalised part of who you are? HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH FALSE ALLEGATIONS? Expose patterns to get psychological input - these are psychological disorders and CANNOT be diagnosed by judges, social workers or anyone except mental health professionals. Get an evaluation done ASAP (UK PJ25) Preparing for the evaluation: 1️⃣ Provide accurate, verifiable and organised information (EVIDENCECAPTURE) 2️⃣ Respond to each allegations the blamer makes about you and do it quickly - find out what they are alleging and give the specific factual information asap (EVIDENCECAPTURE and profiling) 3️⃣Meet all deadlines 4️⃣Avoid complaining about your case - use your time to your advantage and complain to your support team. Be friendly, focused and helpful. 5️⃣Hire your own expert if necessary - if you believe the court appointed expert appears to have been recruited by your ex. They can help you prepare and may, if allowed, be able to submit a formal report or even speak to the court appointed expert.
