This is one of the testimonials we’ve received at Avalanche that I’m most proud of. Where a lot of outbound agencies fall down (trust me, I’ve hired them myself in the past) is focusing on the number of calls they book for you. But this is the wrong metric to chase. If you told me you wanted 10 calls this week, I’d fill your calendar with crap. If you told me you just wanted to speak to the right leads at the right time, I’d focus on getting your 1 or 2 meetings a week that are much more likely to lead to an actual sale. Focus on quality over quantity. You’ll save time, make more money, and win better fit clients. #outbound #coldemail

Some end-of-the-week results showcase - 📉 Cost Per Conversion reduced by 99.1% 📈 Conversion Rate increased by 12,512% 📈Conversions increased by 31,950% 📈New Contacts increased in CRM by 97.1% 📈MQLs increased by 35.7% Key Insights 💡 1️⃣ Before we took over the account, ad money was being spent but without proper conversion tracking. Can't emphasize enough how important that is. 2️⃣ A focus on middle and lower-funnel conversions, considering people who click on Book a Demo as a conversion, Meeting Bookings, and Form Fill ups as conversions. This helped the Ads algorithm collect data and also push for lower funnel conversions simultaneously. 3️⃣ Previously the account was running Dynamic search ads which didn't make much business sense and CPA was astronomical. AOV > Conversion Rate Look, I know conversion rate hacks are all the rage. Boost those click-through numbers, right? But here's the thing - if you really want to move the needle on your bottom line, you need to be focusing on average order value (AOV) too. The best part? It's often way easier to influence AOV than it is to boost overall conversions. Think about it - what's easier? Getting someone to buy in the first place, or convincing them to buy a little more? The former is conversion rate, the latter is AOV. That’s why AOV is king. Shift your focus to getting customers to spend more per order. Trust me on this one - AOV is where the real money’s at.

Ever had to troubleshoot why an import to HubSpot hasn't gone to plan 🙋‍♀️? Here's a handy way to unpick the original mappings, and piece together why it's not worked 1. Navigate to the imports tool 2. Click "More" next to the import in question 3. Select "Download original file" 4. Then, once your download is complete, on the same original import select "Use as template for new import" 5. Once you've clicked this option, go to re-import your copy of the original download. 7. Now you can see what mappings were set for that original import It helped me recently to understand why duplicate company records were created on a multi-object import, even when the CSV had the company domain name. [Spoiler: In this case, the domain name was mapped to Additional Domains by mistake] #hubspottip #hubspothelp

One of the things that many agencies need is a good stream of steady, recurring income. It helps break the peaks and troughs of agency life. We've been producing some GREAT results this year with organic search, and for one eCommerce client, we've increased their turnover by over 120%. Their turnover isn't in the millions, but it was very close to five figures so it isn't an insignificant result. Here's a secret: I think automated marketing can be amazing. I work with Meta ads, so I love how they can reach thousands of users daily with my client's messages at a low cost. But those ads work in the feed because users expect a generic ad and have the choice and decision whether to click on it and engage with it. As soon as you start moving that automation to emails, you better get the user's name right. No one likes "Dear [NAME]" emails, and if they've already unsubscribed and you email them? Hell hath no fury like a GDPR warrior threatening to report you. And LinkedIn DMs? You've spaced them apart to make them seem like you're following up, but when I get a DM at 3:53 AM asking me what I thought of your offer, the gig is up, and you look lazy and uninterested. Stop being lazy and get that bit right if you're using automation. It's meant to help you scale yourself to the user, not make you look unbothered. #automation #marketingtips #leadgeneration #businessgrowth #digitalmarketing
