A significant part of the 4th year of my university programme is a four-person group project. For our project, we had the opportunity to research, design and construct a remotely controlled hovercraft with a degree of autonomous functionality.
The project encompassed various aspects of engineering, including electronic, mechanical and software. I was primarily responsible for software relating to the user interface and autonomy, in addition to project management.

The project encompassed various aspects of engineering, including electronic, mechanical and software. I was primarily responsible for software relating to the user interface and autonomy, in addition to project management.
The end result of our project was a model-sized hovercraft that could be remotely operated from a web browser over a Wi-Fi connection, with the option of manual control or automatic outdoor navigation using GPS and obstacle avoidance.Other creators
