Gained whilst working full time at EA Technology as part of the Postgraduate Training Programme, a government scheme to support people to do their PhD whilst working for a company with a particular focus upon knowledge and technology transfer. My research focussed upon taking mature technology from the Healthcare sector (specifically 3D ultrasonic imaging) and applying it to a new sector, namely Energy Utilities.

I was something of a late bloomer educationally but ended up getting straight A's in all of my GCSE's and A-Level to the great surprise of my teachers, my parents, my friends and not least myself.

The Participatory City Foundation is working with residents on the Every One Every Day initiative in Barking and Dagenham, East London, which is a 5 year, £7.2m project to build a fully inclusive Participatory Ecosystem in the borough -- seeing residents as central to creating new systems for sustainable societies.
