An award-winning freelance editor & writer, I've been at the forefront of media for more than 40 years.
Currently, a writer and editor. I work for myself as well as various clients including Olson + Baker, iPetCompanion, Tilix Smart Energy, Auto iQ, Officine Maccaferri SpA, the family-owned multinational specialising in solutions for the construction industry, and Prohibition Partners, the leading source of market intelligence and strategic insight into Europe's legal cannabis industry.
I also work as a senior writer where clients include Finder, the UK's fastest-growing comparison site along with a range of other clients in many different niches.
Having worked at many top publishing companies (News UK, Express Newspapers, River Group, etc) I have also launched and run my own websites and print & digital agencies.
I've spearheaded publications covering a wide range of sectors including pets and animals (CDPOM.com), automotive (various including BMW), politics (various including The Conservative Party), consumer technology (various), food & drink (various including M&S), business (many & various), travel & lifestyle (including Co-op Travel).
As well as launching customer magazines & websites, I have masterminded projects in the areas of private enterprise, NGOs & charities.

In addition I visualised, launched and edited two high-quality BMW lifestyle spin-off magazines - Code & Elements – distributed by The Daily Telegraph to launch new products and explain BMW's key engineering philosophies. In 1998 Code, a marketing first, generated c.100k responses, 11k+ sales leads, and sold products worth £9m+. In 1999 Elements generated sales of around £20m. Won awards for Best External Communication of the Year prize in the Communicators in Business Awards (1998 & 1999) for BMW Magazine, Most Innovative Client Campaign (Direct Response for Code (1999)), Customer Loyalty Magazine of the Year (Direct Response for BMW Magazine (1999)), and nominated for Innovation of the Year in the Total Publishing awards for Elements (2000).
