    I have completed my Exec MBA at Warwick Business School receiving a distinction. Modules undertaken include Strategic Advantage, Operations Management, Organisational Behaviour, Economics of the Business Environment, Accounting, Marketing, Doing Business in China and Creativity, Innovation in Organisations, Digital Leadership, Digital Innovation and Analytics and Change Management.

    I wrote my dissertation on the clear aligner opportunity in dentistry.

    As an elective module at Warwick business school, I took part in the Peking University, Doing Business in China programme. This programme was focused on understanding Chinese history, business practice and culture. During the programme I also spent time researching Chinese consumer behaviour in particular the utilisation of technology.

  • South Africa Challenge 2012

    A cultural exchange and social responsible leadership program, designed to allow aspiring future leaders to develop their own values, beliefs and understand their own motivations.

    Two of the highlights of my experience in South Africa were being part of a team who implemented a sustainable diet and exercise program at the World Changers academy in Durban, and teaching a guest class about creativity in business to a group of aspiring business owners in the local community.

    On the 20th November 2012, 4 enterprising students from England flew out to Helsinki in Finland sponsored by Enterprise Rent a Car.
    The purpose of the trip was three fold:
     To build relations with the Finnish enterprise society Aaltoes, known as one of the biggest and best entrepreneurial society’s in the world,
     To gain understanding of their business model and how they created their incredible series of events and physical space
     To attend their flagship event Slush…

There are 1.4 billion people in the world living in extreme poverty. That's 1.4 billion people living on less than $1.25 a day. The Global Poverty Project has developed a multi-media presentation, 1.4 Billion Reasons, that is travelling the globe engaging and inspiring audiences to understand and get involved in the movement to end extreme poverty. Part of the presentation incorporates the Live Below The Line project.

The event was also a massive opportunity for networking with hundreds of students from universities across the UK and was a huge help in developing my Interpersonal Skills and Verbal Communication skills.

  • Silicon Valley Comes to Loughborough

    SVC2UK - Loughborough was an event that took place in the afternoon of Friday 18th November and our mission was to take students through the process of building an idea, to having a Silicon Valley style success story. To do this we arranged top speakers from the UK to give their contributions through the afternoon and take us through: idea generation, finding appropriate finance and taking a product to market. It was a great event with over 50 students and staff attending.
