In recent polls regarding the applications for payment process, we found: *The time it takes to administrate variations was a key challenge for 32% *A staggering 45% stated that the main issues variations cause is inaccuracy, and therefore a subsequent lack of information. *27% of construction companies said late payments heavily impacted their financials. "The upcoming UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard is expected to align with the operational and embodied carbon performance levels needed to meet the 2030-35 Paris-proof targets. Offsite and modular must be made to work for SME developers. The UK’s housing shortfall urgently requires creative solutions. The UK has more than 28 million homes, most of which will need retrofitting to meet the country’s legally-binding target of becoming net zero by 2050. The Construction Leadership Council has published a report that sets out a framework for defining competence in the UK domestic retrofit sector.
