This strategic move enhances Simpro’s capabilities and accelerates its expansion across the UK and worldwide. 2. Norvestor acquired Wint Norvestor IX is acquiring a majority stake in Wint Group AB, a Swedish provider of automated accounting and payroll solutions for small businesses. Founded in 2011, Wint’s cloud platform simplifies invoicing, expenses, payroll, and tax reporting. 3. Over the last 6 weeks Annapurna has seen a 26% up tick in new mandates taken across the HR, Technology and GTM markets that we operate within internationally. This is a very positive sign. The market is still slow, but is building. Reviewing the roles coming to our teams, there seems to be a trend as either as a result of: 1. New senior leaders starting in role and building a new TOM for their function and recruiting for new hires. 2. Increasing resignations, and churn, with employees starting to look to move in the market. 2021 was a phenomenally busy year for transition 'post pandemic'. We are starting to see the start of the cycle of job movement after 3 years tenure coupled with increasing market confidence as leaders start to take new roles. Let's hope this trend continues, as there is still a significant number of excellent candidates looking to move into role from the open market. Especially in areas such as TA, Learning and Talent, and senior HR directors. 🙏

A fantastic first day at TA Tech, hearing about the pace of change in the market right now. A great fireside chat with Adam Gordon Maria Trivellato and Aurore LE PEUC'H ⚛️ EVIDEN on the topic of Tech, challenges of today and getting ready for tomorrow. Three takeaways; 1. Change and ‘The Exponential Age.’ We live in ‘interesting times.’ - The scale and pace of change happening today will only accelerate. - Our job is to embrace that change, be ready and support our teams to adapt and evolve - leveraging the many benefits of AI. 2. Gen-Z are a growing demographic. In fact they will overtake Baby Boomers in the full-time workforce this year. - They’re pragmatic, have a strong sense of self-agency and value authenticity. - Growing up amid uncertainty means that they expect and are more comfortable with change. - Connecting with Gen-Z on the right channel (think YouTube, Insta and other video formats) with an authentic message is key. 3. Hyper-personalisation is a thing - an important one - more than a trend. Candidates expect consumer-grade experiences - we should embrace this as an opportunity and ensure our messaging resonates with the identified audiences. The Future: A consistent theme on the need to join up technology and leverage the power AI and data.

Why retained? 🤔 We recently closed off another retained mandate, this time with a Series B in North America. The context is important. This client were originally a contingent partner of Cognatio Solutions and we've had prior success with them, including hiring an EAE who went on to become their global top performer. As both of our businesses grew, their need for talent increased but the time we were able to commit to them reduced due to us having to prioritise new retained and RPO commitments with different customers. The client sought support from elsewhere, using multiple different agencies. They did not hire another sales person for almost 12 months. We re-introduced ourselves and the benefit of transitioning from Contingent to Retained. The client took the gamble. Weekly catch up calls & reports on candidates spoken with, market information/data on competitor businesses and a 7 person shortlist later, it took 49 days from job opening to candidate signature. A contingent search rarely benefits anybody.... If you are struggling to make a hire, or need to make a hire by a deadline... there is a solution.
