If your credit union is interested in joining the rollout, here are some important dates to keep in mind: As we prepare for the rollout phases starting 7th May, it's crucial for Credit Unions in the listed fifteen counties to take note of the important forthcoming dates: 3rd May: The last day to send your confirmation to [email protected]. 7th May: Instruction day from Holmes for all registered Credit Unions. 13th May: Deadline to transfer all required data to Holmes. 14th May - 7th June: Mass-geolocation of data by Holmes. 15th May: Training scheduling begins, with dates announced at least a week in advance. 27th May: Gradual release of the Holmes software commences and extends into June. We really enjoyed discussing AI and transformation with Enda Murtagh from PTSB. Like many in Banking and Finance, Enda has been working with AI for many years. There's not a bank out there that doesn't have some level of AI in risk assessment, fraud and compliance processes. But there's a few things to consider with the introduction of GenAI. The first is that more people are becoming aware of its existence and they can see how powerful these models are. This general awareness brings pros and cons, not least that we can't get too taken with the hype. There's a lot of noise that sounds cool, but might not have that big an impact. We need to take stock. The number of use cases and opportunities has exploded. The second is that Enterprise Transformations are notoriously hard to see through. Top down change programmes that don't engage people at all levels tend to fall flat. Engagement at all levels is required with a mindset of experimentation. People need to see and feel the change, and be empowered. The size and scale of the change coming is massive. Take a listen for yourself. The link is in the comments.
