These techniques derive from disciplines such as machine learning, probabilistic and statistical modelling, pattern recognition and neural networks, and are sometimes collectively referred to as data mining.

My eldest daughter, with wide eyes, asked, “Dad, is this for real?” I smiled and said, “AI has the potential to revolutionize every aspect of our lives, This means that by the time you’re all grown up, you’ll be living in a world where technology empowers you to achieve even greater things.” My younger daughter chimed in, “Does that mean I can have a robot as a friend?” Laughing, I replied, “Maybe! But more importantly, it means you’ll have the tools to create, innovate, and make a positive impact on the world. Seeing my daughters’ excitement and curiosity filled me with hope.
