This degree has really given me a chance to understand the importance of creativity within any work environment. During my time at university I have had to interact with professionals and work to a brief and timeline set by them. This enabled me to learn many different presentation and sales techniques and build my confidence when called upon to par-take in a competitive situation. • Hille Educational Storage System

The role that I played within my assigned team was understanding the making process, the logistical distribution, the cost involved and how the product would compliment its intended environment. The product had to be appropriate for mass production and country wide distribution. The role that I played within my assigned team was understanding the making process, the logistical distribution, the cost involved and how the product would compliment its intended environment. I then had to collate all of this information and compress it into a short five to ten minute PowerPoint presentation with matching A1 presentation panels. The teams were then asked to pitch their product to the CEO of Hille, a task which I headed up myself and lead. From this I was selected, not just out of my team but out of all the other competitors, as the candidate with the clearest understanding of both the brief and their product and the strongest in their sales conviction.

With just one hour allocated to each product the group had to collaborate a pitch to sell which ever product they were given, highlighting unique selling points, costs and other prime information. We then had to deliver the pitch to a selection of local entrepreneurs. At the end of the day I was awarded first place at the event as the strongest candidate, not just out of my assigned task force, but of the entire group. Thus showing that from a young age I have confident and able to speak publicly and highlight the essential information needed to pitch, sell and market a product or concept.
