    Invited to join the Trades Awards judging panel, following Richard Irvin's sponsorship of the Best Trades Business 11+ employees award, based on my experience, business acumen and expertise. Carried on from a personal perspective in 2019 and 2020.

    The judging is a rigorous process including pre-scoring to determine shortlisted finalists, with meetings and interviews to discuss and evaluate the entries before deciding on the winners. Took on the role of Head Judge in 2018.

    Involved with my local primary school Parent Council since 2014 and undertook the role of Chair for the school year 2019/20. The Parent Council plays a role in supporting parental involvement in the work and the life of the school, while also providing opportunities for parents to express their views on children's education and learning. The Council is also actively involved in organising fundraising activities for the school.
