You're managing conflicting feedback at an event. How do you navigate client praise and attendee discontent?
The reality is that it would be almost impossible to host an event where everything goes perfect or wrong. The issue this question poses is to understand your customer's customer better than your customer does. This is very tricky for events due to the nature of transitory contracts and engagements. However, guests at an event have solid expectations. Learn what makes attendees discontent Directly address it. It is probably with a relationship you own (i.e venue management, catering, service staff) Inform the client it is done or being addressed. It is only a matter of time before attendees inform the host.
