We Enhance the Environment and the area by ensuring it is clean, green, well-maintained and somewhere to be proud of; aiding staff recruitment and retention, improving the visitor experience, attracting new businesses and investment.
We Celebrate & Promote both the area and the businesses within the BID; increasing footfall, raising the profile of Waterloo's cultural and retail offer, supporting the growth of existing businesses and new companies to maintain a thriving local economy.
We Connect & Represent local businesses by providing frequent opportunities to share knowledge and expertise, as well as bridging relations between businesses, local government, community groups, transport providers, development companies and local authorities to ensure that any decision-making results in the best possible environment for business to flourish.
We connect businesses together
Good connections are key to good business and at We Are Waterloo we help organisations meet and connect with the people that matter the most. We attract investment into the area and aim to reduce the costs of doing business for all our members. Our networking events bring businesses together to share and develop new commercial ideas. -

The Jubilee Gardens Trust, made up of residents’ organisations, local businesses and neighbouring landowners, is the local charity responsible for the management and maintenance of Jubilee Gardens next to the London Eye.
The project is remarkable in bringing together a very wide range of partners including: Southbank Centre, Lambeth Council, Shell and London Eye, the Mayor of London, the Jubilee Gardens Trust, the Shirayama Corporation, South Bank Employers’ Group and other donors.
By working in partnership this group created a wonderful green vision for gardens in London’s most vibrant area and secured the funding and planning consent with huge public support. Work was completed on site 35 years after the gardens were first created to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977. -
