Six new DAF XG 450 6x2 tractor units have joined the Newell & Wright Transport fleet. These are the first DAF trucks to feature in the shipping container haulage and rail freight specialist’s fleet since 2019. The new XGs join a fleet of 105 vehicles following successful fuel economy trials. The vehicles average around 10.5mpg which is close to a 20% improvement over previous generation DAF models.
