Here is a list of the key reasons I’ve heard from agencies over the last 8 years that I actually agree with as to why measuring the candidate experience isn’t a priority for them right now. There isnt one! Not a single one. Candidates deserve the best service you can give and if you aren’t measuring it you can’t improve it. No one is perfect but we can all improve.

Record month... AGAIN?! 🔥 It was only 2 months ago we were celebrating a record month in February - for us to just completely smash those numbers again! April was our best month yet, with written business exceeding the previous record by 10%. "No agencies please” 🧐 Have you thought about the impact of what you write? I have seen so many hiring managers recently comment “no agencies please” on their job posts. Look I get that you’re bombarded with applications as well as “perceived cost > benefits implications of using external parties”. However your comments send the wrong message. You risk undermining respect for those in recruitment who play a critical role in finding top talent. What then happens when you do want to use agencies, the best may chose not to work with you. Instead of closing doors, why not keep the focus on attracting the best? A collaborative approach can maintain your credibility and open up more opportunities for growth. Recruitment is only a cost if your hire the wrong person, if you hire right, you’ve just #Invested in #People appropriately to help your business thrive. In Q2 of this year in the UK the average Perm Consultant made 4 placements and the average Temp Consultant made 6 placements. (UK) When we looked at the consultants at the Top 5 agencies on Recruiter Insider for Candidate Experience, we discovered that: 🚀 the average Perm Consultant there made 5 placements 🚀 the average Temp Consultant made 10 placements. In Q2 alone, the agencies with the highest candidate experience scores made 1 extra Perm placement per consultant and an 4 extra temp placements per consultant. Highlighting as always the impact candidate experience has on your placement numbers. The data doesn’t lie, an improved candidate experience means more placements.
