Digital Infrastructure and Connectivity: 🔸 Interconnection Services: Equinix provides robust interconnection solutions, enabling improved connectivity, reliability, and security for businesses. 🔸 Data Centres: Equinix operates multiple data centres in London and Manchester, offering extensive space and power redundancy. 🔸 Customer Base: Supports over 1,800 businesses, including 790 with headquarters in the UK, across various sectors. Flexibility, Security, and Resilience: 🔸 Cloud and IT Services: Hosts major cloud providers like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle, offering flexibility and choice for enterprises. 🔸 Private Connections: Provides the largest number of potential cross-connections for enterprises needing direct network connections. 🔸 Internet Exchanges: Hosts several Internet Exchange Points, enhancing network redundancy and performance. Sustainability and ESG Commitments: 🔸 Renewable Energy: All UK data centres use renewable energy sources, with a goal to be climate neutral by 2030. 🔸 Energy Efficiency: Achieved a global average power usage efficiency (PUE) of 1.42 in 2023. Strategic Alignment with UK Goals: 🔸 Digital Strategy: Supports the UK’s digital strategy by enhancing digital connectivity, fostering innovation, and contributing to economic development. 🔸 Net-Zero Goals: Aligns with the UK’s net-zero strategy by reducing emissions and investing in green technologies.
