“Working with Hatibu at Surrey Police was truly a highlight of my career. From the very first day, his infectious positivity and boundless creativity made an impact, not only on our Corporate Communications team but across the organization. Hatibu is one of those rare individuals who brings both innovative ideas and an inspiring “can-do” attitude to every task. No matter how challenging or complex, he always found a way to approach it with enthusiasm and determination. To Hatibu, there was never a task too big or impossible, just another opportunity to innovate and excel. Beyond his official role, Hatibu joined our Race Equality Network as General Secretary, where he went above and beyond to support our mission. He was dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate, bringing his unique insights and strong leadership to the team. His contributions weren’t just appreciated, they were deeply valued. Hatibu quickly earned the trust and respect of everyone he worked with, and he became a source of strength and inspiration within the network. Hatibu is one of those people who genuinely lifts everyone around him, both professionally and personally. I would wholeheartedly support him in any venture he decides to take on; I have no doubt he’ll approach it with the same passion, creativity, and commitment he brought to his role here. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to have Hatibu on their team.”
