Simplifying the Supplier ( Bussiness Partner) Record It is possible to create your own Business Partner Roles in S/4 HANA on premise edition. In this case then you can create a role that mirrors the Supplier Master Record from SAP Business Suite, allowing you to store Purchasing data at the Purchasing Organisation level; and the Accounting Data at the Company Code level on the same BP role.

🎬 SAP IS-U with Ramu Kaka - Chapter- 2 ⚡️“BMD - TMD - and Important T-Codes” 👉In the Chapter-1 we learnt how Ramu Kaka introduced his villagers to SAP IS-U. Here in Chapter - 2 Ram Kaka further explained about the key data in SAP IS-U: 👉1. Business Master Data: ⚡️- Business Partner: Information about the people or organizations using the services. It is stored in tables like BUT000 and other BUT* tables. ⚡️- Contract Account: Details about how the customer's account is treated, such as billing terms. This data is stored in tables like FKKVK and FKKVKP. 👉2. Technical Master Data: ⚡️- Connection Object: Locations where services are provided, such as a building or streetlight. This data is stored in tables like ADRC. ⚡️- Premise: Places where energy or water is provided, such as an apartment or factory. This data is stored in tables like EVBS. ⚡️- Installation: Groups of devices that belong to the same division and premise. This data is stored in tables like EANL. 💪💡Ramu Kaka also described other important terms: ⚡️- Device Location: Where devices are placed within a connection object, similar to functional locations. ⚡️- Device: Tools like meters and controllers. ⚡️- Rate Category: A category given to each utility installation for different rates. ⚡️- Rate Type: A classification that helps set billing rates. It is used with the rate category to decide the specific rate for a service.. ……….. 👉Transaction Codes: Ramu Kaka shared the main transaction codes for managing utilities: ⚡️- Create Business Partner: BP or FPP1 for adding a new person or company to the system. ⚡️- Create Contract Account: CAA1 for setting up the customer's account for billing. ⚡️- Create Connection Object: ES55 for setting up a new physical location for services. ⚡️- Create Premise: ES60 for adding a new location, such as an apartment or factory. ⚡️- Create Installation: ES30 for grouping devices and rates for billing. ⚡️- Create Device Location: ES65 for adding a location within a connection object. ⚡️- Create Device: IQ01 for adding a new measuring device. ⚡️- Device Installation: EG31 for setting up the installation of a device. ⚡️- Technical Installation: EG33 for setting up technical aspects of the installation. ⚡️- Billing Related Installation: EG34 for managing billing for an installation. ⚡️- Move-in: EC50E for setting up services when someone moves in. ⚡️- Move-out: EC55E for ending services when someone moves out. 👴😎Ramu Kaka's knowledge and experience ensured that Thakur Sahab's household and the entire village operated smoothly and efficiently…and They lived happily ever until “the Gabbar Singh” invaded the village, but that’s the story for some other time..some other post…👋👋 #sap #sapisu #saputilities #saptechnofunctional #Learning #learnsap #sapconsultants #ramukaka #utility

SAP Datasphere(Built on BTP) is an evolution of the existing SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence Cloud, and the service is available now as part of the BTP consumption-based cloud services, according to the company. Enterprise data is scattered across external and internal systems, including on-premises applications, cloud hyperscalers and data vendors, and accessing and using that data is complex and challenging. In order to make data useful for decision-making, companies have had to move data from systems or applications to central storage locations. In doing so, however, they often lose the business context around the data, which must be restored with a great deal of time and effort. For example, to do analysis on supply chain disruption, customers have to copy supply chain data into an analytics tool to combine it with data from other sources. However, critical metadata such as business partner connections is lost when the data is extracted and must be added back in manually or reconstructed, and the burden is on customers to do the work. SAP Datasphere enables customers to unify disparate data sources by building a data fabric architecture that integrates data from SAP and non-SAP sources while keeping the business context and logic intact. SAP Datasphere is available now as a part of the SAP BTP cloud platform, with cost based on customer consumption.

Here comes Joule, the SAP AI-copilot  SAP’s Cloud ERP solution has supported thousands of companies with business processes automation and simplification. In September 2023 SAP announced Joule, the generative AI-copilot to support end users in getting their work done faster and drive better business results in a secure and compliant way.  Now it’s the time to announce Joule being available in SAP’s SaaS Cloud ERP offering: Joule, the SAP AI-copilot will boost user productivity and provide contextual insights in natural language. Within SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Joule will be released in an Early Adopter Care (EAC) phase starting soon. The registration phase has just started and existing SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition customers can share their interest in attending the EAC phase. Don’t wait too long to register – only a limited number of seats will be available.   How Joule boosts productivity in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition  With the start of EAC, Joule in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition can assist users in different ways. Some examples:      I.       Looking for help to execute certain finance operations or looking for guidance how to change sales document entries? Joule can assist in finding such help information more easily. Via the natural-language interface, Joule provides quick and easy access to help content and creates a summary via the large language model. No need to browse through long search result lists anymore and reading into several topics to find the correct information.      II.       Navigational pattern: Not sure which application could help to check the status of sales orders? Just express the need in natural language and Joule will propose the most reasonable applications for the required business operation.   III.       Transactional pattern: Want to quickly check the status of a specific purchase order? Joule can also assist in providing insightful information about specific business objects. Once Joule shows up the required business information directly in the natural language user panel, users can directly jump into the business application from there.
