“Shalini was my manager for two years when I joined Amazon. She helped me through my onboarding process and getting myself integrated with the rest of the team. She is able to adapt very quickly to rapidly-changing business requirements and prioritize/delegate work appropriately to her staff. She understands her staff's strengths and weaknesses and is able to leverage that knowledge into ensuring the right person gets assigned to a task. She also has a strong technical background in software development, and is therefore able to understand and convey her thoughts regarding the customer's technical challenges easily. She always seeks out to understand the bigger picture, and gains as much information from the customer as possible so that she can provide the best solution to ensure that the delivered product solves the customer's problem. Another one of her many strengths is her kindness and compassion for her staff. During periods of hardship in the company, she went out of her way to ensure that her staff were able to find other internal positions. She strongly advocates for her staff and always tries to showcase their talents to the business. Shalini is a great manager and will be a great addition to any team.”
