#Funding News in the Tech Market Healx 💰 - Raised $47M (£37M) UK-based Cambridge company drug discovery startup Healx announced its $47 million in Series C funding. The round was co-led by R42 Group and Atomico, with additions from other parties. This funding will propel Healx's mission to accelerate the discovery and development of treatments for rare diseases using AI and drug repurposing. Huma 💰 - Raised $80M Global healthcare AI company Huma has successfully completed its Series D funding round. This latest $80 million round included participation from new and existing investors such as AstraZeneca, HAT SGR, Hitachi Ventures, and Leaps by Bayer. The funds will support the launch of the Huma Cloud Platform, a technology ecosystem designed to empower the development and scaling of AI-enabled digital health tools. Robin AI 💰 - Raised $26M Robin AI, a company using generative AI to automate and speed up the process of drafting and negotiating contracts, has raised $26 million in a Series B funding round led by Temasek. Additional investment came from QuantumLight, Plural, and AFG Partners. This funding will help Robin AI expand its presence in the United States and Asia Pacific. Elson Search is an international MedTech recruitment provider - fact. Since inception (February 2022), Elson Search has made over 50 placements in 10 countries. We're a UK-based company and primarily conduct our business in Europe with Germany being our most active country. This is due to start-up clients often preferring to begin their international expansion there. Here are 3 ways to find great staff off the beaten path: 1️⃣ Offer Flexible Working! 🚗 Most people don’t want to sit in city centre traffic. But despite the “character” of the UK’s pothole-ridden B roads, they also don’t want to slip a disc bouncing down them every day, like a mistreated slinky. 2️⃣ Talk about Cozzie Livs! 🏠 If where you are isn’t a respiratory disease waiting to happen, doesn’t cost £8 for a pint 🍻, and typical housing doesn’t mean a 23-person HMO 🏘️, then tell people about it. Relocating to Lickey End might make them happier…you never know. 3️⃣ Shower them in Shillings! 💰 Despite the gang violence and knife crime, cities tend to pay well. With the rise of flexi-working, there’s really no avoiding the fact you need to compete with cash.
