We have compiled indicative P&L accounts for four business types and projected the 2026 position. In summary: policy driven cost inflation is making trading conditions extremely challenging for these businesses, and the current State supports do very little to address the problem. Happy Workers Day! Today, I particularly want to highlight the dedication and hard work of our SME accountants. Managing finances with unclear roles and confusing workflows is tough. You lack the formal structures, processes and salaries that big companies have, but the expectations are still the same. Your colleagues in structured establishments can't even begin to comprehend what you are going through. Your resilience in handling these challenges is commendable. Here are 3 practical steps to continue to improve in such spaces: 1. Streamline roles, workflows, and practices.    Suggest clear guidelines and standard procedures to simplify complex tasks. 2. Work closely with other stakeholders to improve communication.    Set up regular discussions to tackle financial issues, address concerns, and synchronize goals. 3. Implement easy-to-use tools and software to automate routine tasks.    This should enhance efficiency and improve data management and reporting. I know it's not easy. But Keep striving for better systems and processes. The impact of your work extends far beyond the balance sheet. Continue making a difference amidst the chaos.
