Hargreaves Lansdown said its board will unanimously support the revised offer at the proposed value. JLL have just published the Global Real Estate Transparency Index for 2024 (you can download this at https://lnkd.in/dUGRt8MS) Israel is ranked 39 out of 89 markets world-wide and considered semi-transparent. We are close to reaching transparent level. If IREF’s mission could be expressed by one metric - raising Israel’s transparency ranking would be it. About 90% of global real estate capital flows are concentrated in the transparent and highly transparent markets. So transparency is important. A key improvement we have already acheived is the IREF Israel Real Estate Index (can be downloaded at https://lnkd.in/d4qK_fBX), which is the first commercial real estate index in the history of Israel. 📈 Q1 2024 Update: Czech Commercial Real Estate Investment In the first quarter of 2024, the Czech Republic saw an encouraging increase in commercial real estate investments, totalling EUR 393 million. This represents a 28% increase above the average of the past seven quarters (Q2 2022 – Q4 2024), with all transactions carried out by local buyers! A notable highlight of this quarter was the Arkády Pankrác shopping centre deal, valued at over EUR 250 million, which significantly influenced the overall figures. The market recorded only three transactions exceeding EUR 20 million. 🔍 2024 Outlook After a challenging 2023, where total investments amounted to approximately EUR 1.3 billion—down 27% from 2022 and 37% from the five-year average— I hope there's a positive shift on the horizon. With an increasing number of ongoing deals, I believe 2024 will see the total investment volume somewhere between EUR 1.6 and EUR 1.9 billion. Revetas Capital announces the #disposal of the premium #office park The Landmark - Bucharest to Vectr Holdings, through its subsidiary Vectr Realty. Vectr Realty acquired the asset from funds managed by Revetas Capital in partnership with affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management through a share deal. The Landmark, developed in 2017, offers 23,700 sqm of state-of-the-art offices in the capital’s Central Business District (CBD). Commenting on today’s announcement, Eric Assimakopoulos, Founding Partner at Revetas, said, “This transaction serves as another validation of Revetas’ value creation strategy to constantly improve the experience that corporate office users have within the modern office. Key ESG improvements, common area upgrades and bringing in amenities to serve the complex, its tenants and the local community have secured The Landmark as the prime office address in Bucharest. Revetas’ rigorous commitment to quality and the experience within the community are a major factor in driving demand for high-quality offices in a market where offices across Europe struggle to find liquidity. New case study: Creating a more lettable asset for Columbia Threadneedle Investments in Cambridge ---------- Woodhouse were engaged by Columbia Threadneedle Investments EMEA APAC to refurbish a 27,000 square foot space in Building 2000, Cambridge Research Park into a more attractive and #sustainable environment. The project involved works to both interior and exterior elements to enhance the building's appeal and functionality, making it more a more lettable asset. Works included creating a more modern reception area, refurbishing the ground floor to a Cat A standard, spraying the exterior frame to anthracite (previously blue), refreshing the WCs, and improving the M&E systems throughout.
