How do you follow up on feedback to ensure improvement and accountability?
I find coaching in the workplace very effective in terms of boosting employee autonomy, confidence and ultimately, role performance. Using a coaching mindset with employees builds a trusting relationship and leads to employee empowerment in setting own goals and becoming accountable for those. Managers need to monitor progress of employee goals and if this conducted using the coaching approach, employees are more likely to move through their stages of change and apply desired behaviours quicker.

What are the benefits and challenges of using online learning platforms to close competence gaps?
In my experience, it is important that online learners are given the opportunity to interact with others in online learning communities. Such an approach makes online learning more reflective and collaborative and can motivate learners to move along their learning journey at pace.
