Now THIS is a great perspective to have on automation at your company. 👇 In a statement about Aviva and FNZ Group’s next phase of digitisation roll out, FNZ’s chief executive officer said: “Our goal is to give advisers more control, helping them deliver better outcomes for investors and drive the growth and efficiency of their businesses.” At first glance, most people do not see automation as providing more control. It is far more likely to be viewed as taking control away from the user. Hence why I like this perspective very much. In an explanation as to how greater control is achieved, aspects such as enhanced digital analytics capabilities, asset transfer and dashboard configuration tools are quoted as ways in which advisers are able to gain time they wouldn't otherwise have and thus deliver even more personalised products for their clients. For the first time in its history, Direct Line Group insurance will be available on price comparison websites, introducing a new suite of motor insurance products tailored for the platforms.
