Since joining us in March 2023, Faye has been a pivotal force in shaping our user experience strategy, and we're excited to share some of her incredible contributions!🎉 Trailblazing UX at UKcaravans4hire⭐ Faye was our first UX hire, and she took on the monumental task of establishing and leading our UX efforts from the ground up. Here are some key initiatives she spearheaded: Introducing Figma: Implementing this powerful design software has revolutionised our design process. Partnering with Userlytics: This partnership has enabled us to conduct thorough user testing, gathering valuable qualitative and quantitative data to inform our design decisions. Creating a Design System: Faye is currently developing a design system to ensure a consistent and efficient UX across all platforms with a keen focus on creating a system that is accessible and inclusive for every user by following the WCAG guidelines. Engaging the Business: By involving colleagues across the business in the design process, she has demystified UX and fostered a culture of collaboration. Implementing Retrospectives: These sessions help us continuously improve our ways of working. Faye’s efforts have been instrumental in expanding our UX team. A notable milestone was onboarding Imogen Walsh as our UX Researcher. Together, they created an owners panel to engage users throughout the testing and design stages, ensuring their voices are heard every step of the way.✨ Some other impressive notable impacts from Faye are: Conversion Growth: Conversion rates have grown by around 100% year on year. Email Redesign: Her redesign of our marketing emails significantly improved conversion rates. Bounce Rate Reduction: She reduced the bounce rate by 8%. Enhanced User Experience: Faye played a key role in our rebrand, implementing basic UX changes to create a more usable, consistent, and simple website experience.   We'd love to take the opportunity to shout-out Faye, whose outstanding work has not gone unnoticed: Award-Winner: She won the ‘Learn, Grow, and Innovate’ award at the 2023 company value awards and was nominated for three awards in total. Career Progression: Starting as a Senior UX Designer, Faye quickly advanced to Lead UX Designer. Professional Development: She completed a training course in UX leadership, management, and strategy, shaping our UX strategy and her own growth.   Faye Hackney's leadership and dedication have been vital to our success. ICYMI: We've been shortlisted for 6 UK Search Awards! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 But, as we like to be transparent, we'll give you a little more insight into one of our nominations... Nepo Savers! 💰 Our strategy? We partnered with Wealthify to create compelling content to generate high authority links, boost keyword rankings & uplift traffic to their new Instant Access Savings product. After analysis, our idea was formed around disparities between adult children who receive savings from the ‘Bank of Mum & Dad’ vs those who don’t. 🤑 Our aim was to understand how this affected people’s finances. We found while the media were talking about adult children receiving money from their parents, they weren’t talking about the disadvantages for those who don’t (81% of the nation). Despite many challenges including delays in outreach because of the general election, traditional PR clashes & creating news-hooks without entering political news territory, we overcame them all. Our results? 📈 Achieved 62 backlinks (2.5x our target) 📈 Earned 31 pieces top tier and niche coverage for the research (1.8x our target) 📈 Increased organic clicks & impressions by 20.6% (2x our target) We delivered impressive results for Wealthify in a condensed time frame, smashing our objectives! 🔥 Keeping everything crossed for the big night! 🤞
