What do you do if your website needs more organic traffic?
Do you really need more traffic? Are you not more interested in conversions? I would suggest focusing on the right keywords and ignoring vanity keywords with lots of traffic. High-traffic KWs might seem great but more often than not, the visitors for these KWs aren’t ready to convert. If you’re chasing these KWs without a holistic marketing approach you’re wasting your time. If you want those high-volume KWs, create a plan for funneling that traffic through your site and warm them up. Also really get to know your audience's pain points. Then you can chase those easy-to-rank for 0 volume keywords (that probably have lots of traffic).

What do you do if your Search Engine Optimization budget is limited but you need optimal results?
Focus on BOFU keywords with a high purchase intent. DO not chase big volume keywords and ignore topical maps. Everyone is chasing those high volume KWs. BOFU > MOFU > TOFU Before you write the content speak to your audience or your client. Don't assume you know them. You run the risk of producing bad content or run the risk of producing content that's so bad the users bounce. You have to be able to relate to the state of mind of the customers. This is what makes them convert. When writing the content your aim should be to get it 75% of the way there. There is no need to polish it to 100%. Incorporate stories, expertise etc. Prioritise keywords where you can do this quickly.

What do you do if your organization lacks innovation and creativity?
Buy your team the latest courses. This will upskill them and give them fuel to create better processes. Encourage your team to be active in the community. Commenting on other people's posts can stimulate so many creative ideas. Seeing other people excel can provide inspiration to reverse engineering their strategy and then test it internally. Looking at other peoples SOPs can be a good prompt to challenge your own SOPs. I would recommend taking your team to conferences if possible. This will help them stay up to date with industry news and stimulate new ideas. Foster an environment where everybody tries to get better every single day. An environment where failure isn't possible because we're all here to grow.

What do you do if your SEO team is struggling to identify target audiences without collaboration?
Unless you want to produce copy cat content you need to speak to your target audience. If you can’t do this directly, you need to speak to sales, customer support etc. If you want to produce thought leadership content you need to speak to the CEO / face of the company. Don’t assume you know the audience or the clientele. Speak to the people who know the audience best. If you want to produce good content that drives organic revenue you have to be able to relate to the state of mind of the customers. Figure out their pain points, dreams and desires. Incorporate that into their copy. That’s how you do really great content led SEO!
