Honors & Awards

  • Personnel Today Shortlisted for Diversity & Inclusion

    -

Among other things, this submission was for the work I had delivered to embed diversity and inclusion measures into out procurement / supply chain.

  • The Rads - Shortlisted for Diversity & Inclusion

    -

The RADs recognise all areas of recruitment communications – people who together have produced outstanding recruitment campaigns through innovation. - I'm passionate about D&I and try to keep it at the forefront of my mind in every project I deliver. Even though we were only shortlisted for my work, it still meant a huge amount to me.

  • Winner - RIDI Awards - Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative

    -

The RIDI awards are about removing the barriers whilst supporting disabled candidates. The RIDI’s recognise and celebrate examples of recruiters who are increasing inclusion and on their journey to become disability confident.
I was very proud of my winning submission for this award – reviewing and improving our recruitment processes, increasing recruiter’s confidence around disability and seeing more disabled talent join us was very fulfilling.

  • Winner of Best Diversity & Inclusion strategy - The Firm Awards

    -

These awards are designed to champion achievements and inspire others working in the In-house recruitment profession. My submission was around the work I had done to align our resourcing strategy with our diversity agenda.

  • Winner of Innovation on Campus - TARGETJobs

    -

The largest Graduate Recruitment award in the UK, voted for by students. This award was great to win as we were up against some big players, with really big budgets. My part was to ensure the campaign was attractive to our target audience, whist aligned with our Employer Value Proposition and Employer Brand. This year saw E.ON with the biggest number of quality applicants and the scheme closing in the shortest time on record.

  • Winner of the Inclusive Recruitment Award - enei – Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion

    -

The enei awards nationally recognise and celebrate the achievements of organisations that have taken a lead in challenging discrimination and are working inclusively to tap into their talented workforce. Some of the reasons we won this award was for improvements I made in the way we identified and supported disabled applicants through our recruitment process. From the way we thought consciously about avoiding unconscious bias in our role profiles to the diversity champions I introduced into the…

  • Winner with Distinction - The UK Candidate Experience Awards

    -

This award is given to companies who offer a great experience to their jobseekers. For me, winning this award was really important as it’s judged on actual feedback from candidates who had been through our recruitment process. After winning the award, this feedback allowed me to make even more improvements to our “award winning” journey, things that I know really make a difference and set us apart in the war for talent.
