A key indicator of climate’s staying power on leaders’ agendas is that 85% of CxOs say they have increased investments in sustainability in the past year from 75% in 2023-and half have started to implement technology solutions to help achieve climate goals #keyfindings

Greenwashing, where companies superficially present themselves as environmentally friendly, will no longer suffice in this day and age. As easy wins are behind us, organisations must now undertake radical transformations in their energy and resource systems. EY has highlighted key points for fostering cross-functional collaboration and essential traits for boards and management that drive sustainable business outcomes: - Silo Busting and Inclusion: Strategy and metrics should be co-created and socialised among all C-suite members and across functions, business units, and geographies to break down silos and foster buy-in. - Empathy and Listening: Listen carefully to diverse perspectives to work toward shared goals. - “Multilingual” Storytelling: Use the right language to engage all stakeholders.
