The intricate process of configuring D365 Making Tax Digital (MTD) connectivity with HMRC can pose challenges, particularly when encountering errors without clear indications of the specific configuration area at fault. To streamline future MTD setups, I've compiled a detailed 40-page guide outlining configuration steps, potential errors, and their solutions. During my recent assistance to a European client with their UK legal entity's MTD requirement, a new error emerged during the access token acquisition phase. This unfamiliar issue was swiftly resolved by disabling the "Run ER import of manually uploaded documents in batch" feature. This solution facilitated the successful acquisition of the access token, ensuring a smoother MTD configuration process. For individuals navigating MTD setups, it's crucial to verify the status of the mentioned feature. Taking a proactive approach in checking this can significantly save time and effort in troubleshooting, ultimately optimizing MTD configurations for seamless operations. '' £500p/d seems a bit steep, Calum '' I am speaking with a D365FO end-user who has gone live with Dynamics. They need somebody to support them through hyper-care & stabilisation Ideally, they need to bring that cost in-house as opposed to paying the partner for EVERY SINGLE CHANGE REQUEST So, is £500p/d a bit steep? To end-users who haven't yet hired contractors for their project, I can certainly understand why they'd think so But the benefits of bringing a D365FO Contractor in-house are: - You have the expertise full time as opposed whenever the Partner consultant is free.. (They have multiple projects, not just one) - Configuration changes - Knowledge transfer - Flexibility - Speed & Efficiency - Cost effective - Risk management When you actually do the maths, and consider cost vs reward £500p/d for a consultant that you can lean on for all of the above is EXCELLENT value for money How does this resonate with my network?

This could be data that is being retrieved from a data source, or could be related to embedded credentials which are required to make calls to external web services. If we are really going to take our data security seriously, then we need to consider what our options are for hiding the information which we don't want anyone else to see. In this session, we will explore how we can utilise everything from in-flow settings to Azure Key Vault to store, secure, and protect our data while our flows are running. If issues are detected, a recommendation is returned that describes how to fix the issue. This might include documentation, instructions, or a click-able action that can fix the issue for you.
