🌟 Space & Time Inspires Future Marketers at Manchester Met University 🌟 Space & Time Media Ltd., had the pleasure of speaking to first-year marketing students at Manchester Metropolitan University, offering a look into the world of digital marketing and the varied career paths it offers. Our team of experts provided a snapshot of what life is like within a digital marketing agency and introduced the students to the fast-evolving field of growth marketing. From pay-per-click (PPC) advertising to search engine optimisation (SEO) and programmatic advertising, each expert shared their personal career journeys, the unique skills that drive success in their specialisms, and practical advice for those aspiring to enter the field. Our PPC expert explained how paid ads can drive targeted traffic and why mastering analytics and adaptability is essential. Our SEO specialist outlined the importance of search visibility, along with the curiosity and creativity needed to thrive in the SEO landscape. Our programmatic expert explained the significance of data-driven ad placements and the technical acumen required to navigate this area. To wrap up, we explored the “human element” of digital marketing with our Client Experience specialist. In a world increasingly driven by AI, human connections remain essential. Successful marketing is still built on relationship-building, empathy, and authentic connections. As we discussed, nurturing these skills—through networking and open-minded learning—can open doors, including potential career opportunities. Today marks my 1-month anniversary with Just Digital and what a month it’s been! 🎉 Adjusting to agency life has been challenging, but I’m already finding my footing. This month’s top achievements include: 🤗 Completing my first paid social onboarding with a trade company based in Doncaster. (I then welcomed 3 new paid social, 2 new organic social, and 4 email marketing clients!) 🤝 Getting to know my clients, understanding their industries and goals, and exploring opportunities for them. 📝 Completing a paid social and email marketing training day with Leanne Taylor. 🤳 Bringing some joy to the team by (gently) forcing them to participate in Just Digital TikToks. 📁 Organising the digital marketing filing system to ensure clear workflows and easy access to all client reports, assets, and strategies. 📊 Creating year-to-date reports for all paid social clients and making future campaign plans based on my analytical findings. 🎯 Achieving 60% of a client’s average monthly lead volume just 6 days into a month-long social campaign. The list goes on, but I won’t bore you with the rest… I’m sure next month will be just as fulfilling, if not more!
