Think about the customer journey and the commitment you’re asking of them at every little step. Stop Scrolling = Commitment Click Your Ad = Commitment Engage with your Landing Page = Commitment Take Action on said Landing Page = Commitment You get where this is going! And all of this is thrown out of the window if your offer is terrible, your assets are slow and so many other things! If just ONE piece is misaligned or out place…the whole strategy goes out of the window!

My top advice for businesses with large databases of unconverted leads: Use email and SMS remarketing to convert the leads you've already paid for. Look, you’ve already spent hundreds of thousands of pounds generating leads in the last few years. Now, it’s your time to reap the benefits by getting some lower-cost conversions through email and SMS. In our experience, it can cost you 80% less than what it does to convert a cold sale from digital marketing channels like Google and Facebook. The bottom line: Make sure you’re leveraging your database to the best of its ability. So, you start to get back some of the investment you’ve made in building it. It always seems to be about scale/ growth/ more more more!! Which is great, however for a business to achieve this, you need to have your house in order, such as your website tracking! If you can't pinpoint which ads are delivering sales/ calls/ enquiries, then you're not going to be able to scale them effectively - I guess you could try, but it's going to be a lot more guesswork, and what does guess work mean? WASTING MONEY! One of the first things we do when we talk to clients/ audit accounts/ or just work out what needs doing first, will generally always come back to tracking. It's the foundation of digital marketing, and if it's not set up properly, then you're a bit, ummmm, up the creek without a paddle? We've dealt with clients (and yes some of these were eCom clients) that have not had their tracking set up at all - as in, they were spending thousands each month and didn't know what it was delivering, or not delivering them! It was a kind of fingers crossed, hope and pray kinda strategy! Get your tracking sorted, and you could honestly save thousands overnight depending on your budgets - as you will have data to back up spend, and can make real changes that will help scale and sell or generate more. It's not rocket science is it?! So yeah, that's the post - sort your tracking out and then go forth and scale, confident that you know what's generating what!
