Connecting and collaborating with experts, businesses & students to improve cyber security in the Yorkshire region.
About us
The Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster was created as part of the UK Cyber Security Forum to build cyber resilience in the region. The core values of the YCSC are knowledge sharing, innovation and growth and we share these with all our 200 members from over 30 organisations. All members have the opportunity to get as involved with our events, networking and volunteering opportunities. We bring together recognised cyber security experts, academic institutions, charities and local bodies to work towards reducing cyber crime in Yorkshire and beyond. The aims of the cluster are two-fold: To support the members of the cluster by communicating National and International initiatives and trade opportunities, providing a networking platform to share ideas and best practice, encouraging collaboration and identifying partnership opportunities so that small cybersecurity specialist businesses in Yorkshire can find new ways to grow. To support the British Government’s commitment to Cyber Security (and UK Government’s Cyber Security Strategy) by building cyber security knowledge, skills and capabilities in the Region, to make businesses more resilient to cyber attacks and the Yorkshire region one of the most secure places in the world to do business. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram @YorkshireCSC for tips, events and updates.

The Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster is incredibly proud to share that steering committee member, Anya Bridges, is stepping into the ring on the 21st December for her first-ever Ultra White Collar Boxing match! 🥊 Having never boxed before, Anya has spent months training hard, pushing her limits, and challenging herself to grow stronger – all while raising funds for an amazing cause: The Cyber Helpline. At YCSC, we’re dedicated to raising cyber awareness and helping people stay safe online. But when things go wrong, The Cyber Helpline provides vital support to victims of cybercrime, helping them recover and stay safe. Anya has already raised £270 and is just £30 away from hitting her target! Let’s rally behind her to get her across the finish line. Every contribution – big or small – makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing her fundraiser page would mean the world to her. 🎯 You can support Anya’s fundraiser here: https://lnkd.in/eKUJYPTY Let’s show Anya and The Cyber Helpline just how much the cyber community cares.
