It was a pleasure to host Blue Diamond Garden Centres awards dinner! 💎 Wow, what a night! 😍
Blue Diamond goes ‘Strictly’ in Blackpool The Empress Ballroom in Blackpool played host to our Blue Diamond annual awards as we went ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for the evening.. Former stars of the popular show Brendan Cole, Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace-Mistry opened the show with their Latin flare with the after party being led by the brilliant Coyote band. The impressive Ballroom part of the Winter Gardens, was built in 1896 and for some time was one of the largest in the world. It hosted the first Blackpool Dance Festival in 1920. 750 staff, suppliers and guests including the National Trust, TV personality David Domoney and award winning designer for our upcoming RHS Chelsea garden Anne-Marie Powell attended the evening where we celebrated our achievements of 2023. We also took the opportunity to celebrate that Blue Diamond has now taken no1 spot as the largest garden centre group in the UK with a turnover of £308m.
