The #Bradford Leadership Group met today at the offices of Schofield Sweeney Solicitors. The economy was the main topic of discussion. The group heard a presentation from Bank of England agent Paul Mount which included forecasts for growth, interest rates and employment. This was followed by a robust discussion on what the #Budget will mean for businesses in the region, with concerns around what it will entail for investment, employment and training. The group was also updated by Bradford Council on city centre roadworks and from Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture as we race towards the start of City of Culture.

This morning we took our members #Netwalking in Saltaire. Luckily the sun was shining as we strolled through Salts Mill and Robert’s Park.☀️ 🌳 We then headed back to Sovereign Health Care for some refreshments and more #networking, a great opportunity to connect with other local business professionals! 🥐☕️ 🗣️ We also heard from Neil McCallum, CEO of Sovereign Health Care who told us about the benefits they offer.
