Thoroughly enjoyed co-hosting the 'R&D Tax in the UK – Compliance and Legislation' webinar with The R&D Community Ltd and Association of International Accountants (AIA) last Wednesday. With over 130 attendees, it was an opportunity for accountants to hear more about previous, current and future changes to R&D Tax legislation and what impact that may have on their clients. Main topics covered across the morning were: I. Transition into the Merged R&D Tax Relief scheme II. Disclosure and Supervision of associated R&D agent(s). III. 🌟 Amazing Funds and Founders event at Tramshed Tech Cardiff yesterday evening, hosted by Walmer Group! (Thanks again James Campbell).  A full house, great hospitality and candid conversation discussing opportunities and strategies for Welsh founders alongside an incredible panel Debbie Taylor, Huw Bishop, and Cai Gwinnutt, with expert moderation by Richard Lee and a great set of pre-panel insights by Daniel Sawko of shipshape.vc. We covered a range of topics, including: 💼 SEIS and EIS Benefits – Welsh startups have significant potential to leverage SEIS and EIS for early-stage and growth funding.
