Last week, we brought together the UK Mars exploration community in London. 🛰️🔴 We celebrated UK Mars successes, discussed the exciting future of UK Mars science, and explored how the UK Space Agency can continue to support our world-leading academics for the next frontier. 🚀

The Aqualunar Challenge took a giant leap last week with an inspiring bootcamp at the Canadian Space Agency | Agence spatiale canadienne near Montréal, where UK and Canadian innovators came together to tackle the challenge of purifying water from the Moon’s surface, supported by international collaboration through the UK Space Agency’s International Bilateral Fund. 🌕 💧   A highlight was hearing from Canadian Space Agency astronaut, David Saint-Jacques and Member of the European Astronaut Reserve, Dr Meganne Christian FRAeS, whose expertise and passion inspired everyone in the room. 👨🚀 👩🚀 Networking sessions, tours of cutting-edge space technologies, and collaborative activities demonstrated the power of working together to advance space innovation. 🚀   We are proud of all the teams driving bold solutions that could shape the future of space and life on Earth. The National Space Operations Centre (NSpOC) has released the November report on the threats from space debris, risks, and hazards. 🛰️ 🌍 In November there were: ➡️ 47 re-entries ➡️ 2,722 in-space collision warnings ➡️ 384 newly registered objects in orbit.
