🎉 Celebrating an Incredible Milestone! 🎉 After an astonishing 48 years with the Club, Kevin Hoffland is retiring. Yes, you read that right – 48 years! Kevin holds the record as the longest-serving employee in Thomas Miller history, and what an amazing achievement that is! Kevin joined our Cockfosters office back in 1976 and has been a steadfast presence through various offices, desk moves, and line managers. Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to his role in claims processing, earning the admiration and respect of his colleagues in the London, Hong Kong and Singapore offices. We want to take this opportunity to thank Kevin for choosing us as his second family for all these years. Your dedication and great work have left an indelible mark on all of us. You will be dearly missed, Kevin! Thank you for everything, and we wish you all the best in your retirement! 🌟

Last week, the UK Club celebrated the festive season truly in style 🥂 The London office gathered in Spitalfields for an evening filled with laughter, karaoke, cocktails, ping-pong, and overall festive cheer. Meanwhile, across the pond, our US teams enjoyed a holiday lunch at Battello's, a waterfront restaurant not too far from the office. It was an afternoon to remember, featuring heartfelt speeches, toasts, and even a gift exchange. Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season and a happy New Year!

Last night, over 120 colleagues from our London office joined us for the annual Thomas Miller Quiz Night. With 22 teams battling it out to be crowned champions, the competition was fierce but friendly. 🧠🎤Our quiz master, Redvers Cunningham, CEO of Thomas Miller's Professional Indemnity Division, hosted once again. Thankfully the questions were a bit more manageable this year! ✨👏 We had a great turnout of colleagues from across the Group, making it a fun and memorable evening. This year, all the money raised at the quiz was in support of our charity partner, St Mungo's. Collectively, we managed to raise over £1,500. Thank you all for your generosity! 🏆 🥇 Congratulations to the winning team from the UK P&I Club - Leah Wallace, Claire Adams, Magda Tomtas, Mark Whitfield, Michael B., and Luke Pascoe. ❓❓ What is the only London Underground station with a “z” in its name? Answer in the comments!
